It all started because Jessi didn't just want wedding colors, but she wanted a wedding pattern. Rather than simply colors, we wanted to have a pattern that identified our wedding that can be varied in color and medium throughout the wedding. Well, that's kinda what a logo does =).
A huge thanks to Douglas Sanchez for helping us with the design.
The simplest feature to notice ARE the pi symbols, which together make a maze that needs to be navigated. Then, can you find the hidden M and J? ;-).
The logo can easily be inverted to be on white or black backgrounds, like it appears in the top nav bar.
The framing brings some elegance to the mathematical symbols.
The logo has a top down view of two glasses, one facing upward and one downwards, to signify the 20/20 vision of the year of the wedding.
And because it is always important to show the process, not just the product, here are a few iterations we went thgouth before converging on our final design.
